New in QScript

Registration - Podiatrists

Podiatrists are no longer required to enter a prescriber number when completing self-service registration.

Registration – Prescribers (other than podiatrists) without a prescriber number

Prescribers other than podiatrists who do not have a prescriber number now have a mechanism by which they can complete the self-service registration process.

These prescribers can now complete the registration process by contacting Support.

Notification - Changed text and behaviour for Green notifications

Green notifications now include the text [Patient Name] – No matching record found. If this is unexpected, consider a manual search.

If you click on a green notification, the Patient Search screen opens in your browser. Previously, clicking on green opened the patient's QScript profile in your browser.

The notification rules which dictate when a Green notification is generated have been updated.

Medication History - Prescribed Date for Dispense Events

Dispense events in the Medication History now display the Prescribe Date under the Practitioner Details.

Correspondence - Approval Renewal and Reminder Packs

Two new types of correspondence are available to help manage the renewal of Approvals. The letters and associated forms will display under Correspondence.

  • Renewal correspondence will be generated within 90 days of the expiry of an approval.

  • If you have not renewed, amended or cancelled the approval, then a Reminder correspondence will be generated within 30 days of the expiry.

Printouts - User Information Recorded

When you use the browser to print a page in QScript that contains data about a patient or practitioner, a heading displays at the top of the printout which includes user information, date/time and information about the page that you are printing.

The information is also recorded in a system log for auditing purposes.
