Registration - Podiatrists
Podiatrists are no longer required to enter a prescriber number when completing self-service registration.
Registration – Prescribers (other than podiatrists) without a prescriber number
Prescribers other than podiatrists who do not have a prescriber number now have a mechanism by which they can complete the self-service registration process.
These prescribers can now complete the registration process by contacting Support.
Notification - Changed text and behaviour for Green notifications
Green notifications now include the text [Patient Name] – No matching record found. If this is unexpected, consider a manual search.
If you click on a green notification, the Patient Search screen opens in your browser. Previously, clicking on green opened the patient's QScript profile in your browser.
The notification rules which dictate when a Green notification is generated have been updated.
Notification - Changed text and behaviour for Amber notifications
Amber notifications now include the text [Patient Name] – Check QScript. Patient record exists.
The notification rules which dictate when an Amber notification is generated have been updated.
Notification - Changed text and behaviour for Red notifications
Red notifications now include the text [Patient Name] – Check QScript. Active alert(s) exist.
The notification rules which dictate when a Red notification is generated have been updated.
Medication History - Prescribed Date for Dispense Events
Dispense events in the Medication History now display the Prescribe Date under the Practitioner Details.
Correspondence - Approval Renewal and Reminder Packs
Two new types of correspondence are available to help manage the renewal of Approvals. The letters and associated forms will display under Correspondence.

Renewal correspondence will be generated within 90 days of the expiry of an approval.

If you have not renewed, amended or cancelled the approval, then a Reminder correspondence will be generated within 30 days of the expiry.
Printouts - User Information Recorded
When you use the browser to print a page in QScript that contains data about a patient or practitioner, a heading displays at the top of the printout which includes user information, date/time and information about the page that you are printing.
The information is also recorded in a system log for auditing purposes.
